Amirul Mukminin (Scopus Author ID: 55850809900) is a senior lecturer of Jambi University and founder of Teach for Pesantren- an NGO focusing on the educational improvement and empowerment for Islamic boarding school, Jambi, Indonesia with areas of specialization of Qualitative Research Methods, Educational policy, Multicultural Education, Teacher Education Policy, and Language policy. He is currently a visiting scholar of Fulbright Senior researcher at Claremont Graduate School, California and was at Universidade Do Porto, Portugal (2016).
He is either a reviewer or an editor of LPDP Indonesia, Journal of Education and Learning, Excellence in Higher Educatior, The Online Journal of New Horizons in Education, International Research in Education, and International Education Studies. This year (2017), he is one of editors in Asian EFL Journal.
His research has been published in many high-indexed journals among others; Elementary Education Online, Education Policy Analysis Archives, Center for Educational Policy Studies Journal, Qualitative Report, Journal of Education and Learning, Excellence in Higher Education, Asia-Pacific Collaborative education Journal, The Online Journal of New Horizons in Education, Turkish Journal of Education, International Journal of Educational Researchers, Turkish Online Journal of Qualitative Inquiry, International Journal of Academic Research in Education, and many others.
